Tiến Nông Contributes Nearly 1.5 Billion VND to Support Flood-Affected Communities

The northern region of Vietnam has recently experienced devastating floods, causing significant loss of life and property. In particular, landslides, flash floods, and heavy rainfall in several northern provinces have resulted in casualties, missing persons, and widespread destruction of homes, infrastructure, and transportation networks. Many areas have been isolated, severely affecting livelihoods, daily life, and business activities.

Tiến Nông Launches Fundraising Program to Support Flood Victims

In response to this crisis, Tiến Nông Agritech JSC launched a fundraising program to support affected communities in northern Vietnam. On September 17, the company organized a donation event, which received strong participation from the company’s leadership, employees, and workers.

Upholding the tradition of solidarity and mutual support, Tiến Nông responded to the call from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, demonstrating its commitment to standing with those in need.

A Message of Support from Tiến Nông’s CEO

At the event, Mr. Nguyễn Hồng Phong, CEO of Tiến Nông Agritech JSC, expressed his hope that this practical contribution would help flood-affected communities recover, rebuild their lives, and restore their agricultural production.

“Natural disasters have caused severe economic and social damage in the northern provinces. The losses and hardships left by the floods will have a long-lasting impact on the lives of many people. Understanding this, Tiến Nông’s leadership, along with our company’s labor union, initiated this fundraising program to share the burden and provide support to those in need,” Mr. Phong stated.

He further emphasized that Tiến Nông will continue to support farmers in rebuilding their agricultural activities, helping them overcome challenges and regain stability. This initiative also reflects Tiến Nông’s deep gratitude to the farming communities who have supported the company over the years.

Nearly 1.5 Billion VND Donated to the National Relief Fund

On the same afternoon, Tiến Nông Agritech JSC officially donated 1.45 billion VND (approximately $58,000) to the National Relief Fund. This donation, contributed by the company’s executives, employees, and workers, aims to provide urgent assistance to communities affected by the disaster.

Through this contribution, Tiến Nông reaffirms its corporate social responsibility and unwavering commitment to standing alongside Vietnamese farmers in times of crisis.
