Organic toxicity in rice
15–25 days after transplanting or sowing, rice grows slowly, leaves turn yellow and tillering is poor. Pulled-up plants show dark, blackened roots with few white roots and a foul smell; gas bubbles rise from the field.
Every crop and every soil has different nutrient needs. Tiến Nông builds crop care programmes based on analysis of the soil, climate, region and the growth characteristics of each crop.
Each crop has its own nutrient needs, which change with growth stage, soil, climate and production goals. Tiến Nông builds crop care and nutrient management solutions around the crop's characteristics, its nutrient demand and soil assessment results, helping improve fertiliser efficiency, yield and produce quality.
Every problem in the field has a scientific cause. Only by understanding why can we choose the right solution.
15–25 days after transplanting or sowing, rice grows slowly, leaves turn yellow and tillering is poor. Pulled-up plants show dark, blackened roots with few white roots and a foul smell; gas bubbles rise from the field.
Drain the field, let it dry lightly for 2–3 days and stir the mud to release the toxic gases. Then apply Vinafer – an easily absorbed chelated micronutrient fertiliser that helps rice quickly put out new white roots, regreen and tiller strongly.
Stunted plants with short, sparse roots and yellow or purple leaves; in acid sulphate fields the water is clear with a rusty-yellow film and the soil smells sour. Lots of phosphate is applied but the crop is still short of phosphorus.
Apply Soil pH Conditioner before sowing, transplanting or planting to raise pH, supply calcium and magnesium, reduce aluminium and iron toxicity and release locked-up phosphorus for the crop. Apply it first, then nitrogen and phosphate 7–10 days later.
Soil is hard, pale, dries quickly and holds nutrients poorly. Yields fall season after season even as fertiliser rates rise each year.
Combine product groups step by step: add organic matter and humic substances to restore humus and soil structure; correct pH; apply balanced NPK for the crop; add secondary and micronutrients. A Tiến Nông agronomist will recommend a programme suited to each field.
Pineapple leaves turn pale yellow then yellowish-white, especially young leaves; plants are stunted, grow slowly, bear small fruit and yield poorly.
Use Vinafer Special, formulated for pineapple, which supplies easily absorbed chelated iron and micronutrients to regreen the leaves. Combine it with Tiến Nông's pineapple NPK for balanced growth and large, even fruit.
