Mr Hòa has worked at Tiến Nông Kỳ Viên for nearly 10 years; since 2020 Mrs Quý has been in charge of lunch at the company office. Four generations of their family live together.

OUR ROOTS
A culture born of overcoming hardship and a desire to serve
On 4 January 1995, Tiến Nông was founded in Thanh Hóa with the ambition of bringing progress to Vietnamese agriculture and improving farmers' lives. Our founder and Chairman, Nguyễn Xuân Cộng, was orphaned as a child and learned early on the hardships of life and the value of sharing.
From that journey, Tiến Nông built a corporate culture of solidarity, responsibility and sharing the benefits. Every member not only works and contributes together, but is close as kin in one family, sharing the ambition of serving farmers so that they prosper, and Vietnam prospers with them.
These values are distilled into five guiding principles, the foundation for how the people of Tiến Nông think, work and behave.

Established under Decision No. 140-QĐ/TU of the Thanh Hóa City Party Committee with 6 members – one of the province's first Party organisations in a non-state enterprise, laying the first stone for Party building in a private company.

Party cell congress, 2015–2020 term
The Party cell made production and business its central task and stepped up the admission of new members. Party members held almost all key management and production positions.

Party cell congress, 2020–2025 term
The Party cell set the goal of becoming a Party Committee by 2022. In October 2020, comrade Trần Thị Xuân of the Party cell was an official delegate to the 19th Congress of the Thanh Hóa Provincial Party Committee.

Admission ceremonies are held regularly, in line with the Party Statutes. A Party cell was set up at the Vietnam Farmer Care and Service Centre, bringing Party work closer to the network that serves farmers.

After 20 years, the Party cell becomes a Party Committee
On 5 May 2022, the Thanh Hóa City Party Committee issued Decision No. 429/QĐ-TU upgrading the Party cell to the Party Committee of Tiến Nông Industrial and Agricultural Joint Stock Company, announced at the 20th anniversary of the Party cell on 9 May 2022.

Traditions carried on through the generations
Every year on our founding day, the whole Tiến Nông family looks back on the road travelled and honours outstanding teams and individuals.
The "Bảo Bình" is a precious vase presented to staff with four or more years of service, together with a lucky draw at the start of the year.
Long-serving staff receive gold in recognition of each milestone of their service.
Study tours at home and abroad for all staff, to keep knowledge up to date and bring the team closer.

Many couples work together and have stayed with Tiến Nông for years, from the older generation to our young staff.

Some lovely bonds begin at work. Nguyễn Ngọc Long (Administration & HR) and Lê Thị Út Phương (Soil and Crop Health Department, Tiến Nông Science & Technology R&D Centre) met, grew close and married at the end of 2021.
