One of the first children supported by Tiến Nông was Ngô Hùng Hà, who lost his mother at one month old and his father at ten. Hà received monthly support throughout his school years; in 2009, after he had passed the age for support, the Tiến Nông family still raised VND 50 million for his heart surgery. Many children like Hà are now grown up – some have come back to work with Tiến Nông, continuing the journey of giving.

At Tiến Nông, sustainability starts with the product: applying the right fertiliser in the right amount to keep soil healthy for the long term. On that foundation, Tiến Nông builds green factories, improves farmers' livelihoods and spreads humane values in the community.
Sustainability in every bag of fertiliser
In many regions, farmland is becoming degraded and acidic after years of unbalanced chemical fertiliser use; input costs keep rising while yields stall. The right bag of fertiliser can make crops healthier while returning fertility to the soil; the wrong one does the opposite.
That is why Tiến Nông builds sustainability into its products and service: balanced nutrition, more organic and microbial inputs, soil analysis before fertilising, and staying with farmers through to the end of the season.
“Soil is always where it begins, the crop is its voice, and fertiliser is the heartbeat of the season.”
Science starts with the soil
The Soil and Crop Health Department and the Tiến Nông Science & Technology R&D Centre build soil analysis into every demonstration: sampling and assessment come first, then the fertiliser formula is chosen for each growth stage – instead of one fixed formula for the whole season.
Large-scale production that respects the environment
Tiến Nông's factories operate under an ISO 14001 environmental management system, with green grounds and emission controls across the entire production line. Wastewater is treated and recycled for producing microbial fertilisers, watering plants and treating exhaust gases; the factory grounds include fruit orchards and vegetable gardens fertilised with organic fertiliser made on site.
Strong farmers make for lasting fields
Sustainability also means growers make a profit and can stay in farming with confidence. Tiến Nông works with local authorities, the Farmers' Union and extension services to train farmers in balanced, correct fertilising – and runs programmes that stand with them through difficult seasons.
- Deferred-payment fertiliserSince 2014: farmers receive fertiliser first and pay after harvest, through the Farmers' Union.
- Agronomists in the fieldThe Vietnam Farmer Care and Service Centre (2020) and field days across the provinces.
- When seasons are hardBuying up watermelons during the pandemic (2020) and donating more than 100 tonnes of humic bio-organic fertiliser to farmers after storms and floods (2024).
Nearly 30 years sponsoring orphaned children in especially difficult circumstances
The programme began in 1998, from the founder's principle "Given reward, share it" – he himself was orphaned of both parents. Every sponsored child becomes a member of the "Tiến Nông Family": they receive monthly support until the age of 18, may receive further support from the company if they go to university, and are visited and encouraged by local Tiến Nông staff as if they were their own children.
