Benefits
- Used as a basal and top dressing for all crops to supply the nutrients plants need to grow, develop and yield, while reducing pests and diseases and limiting nitrogen loss through volatilisation and leaching.
Directions for use
- Timing
- Split into 5 applications a year, each using 0.3 kg/tree of multi-purpose NK + micronutrient fertiliser, at the fruit-inducing spray and new-flush stages.
- How to apply
- Apply under the canopy: dig a trench 30 cm wide and 10 cm deep from the drip line inwards, mix the fertiliser and sprinkle it into the trench, then cover. Keep moist after applying.
Maize: rate 420 kg/ha/season. Top-dress in 2 applications: first at 3–5 true leaves using 189 kg/ha, second at 7–9 true leaves using 147 kg/ha of multi-purpose NK + micronutrient fertiliser. Cucumber: rate 330 kg/ha/season, top-dressed in 3 applications.
