Benefits

  • Nitrogen: a basic component of protein and the main component of chlorophyll. Nitrogen promotes budding, leaf growth and fruit development, increasing biomass.
  • Phosphorus: needed for cell division; promotes rooting, flower bud formation and young fruit development.
  • Potassium: promotes photosynthesis and the synthesis of carbohydrates, sugars and starch, and enhances the transport of photosynthetic products to storage organs, increasing yield and produce quality.
  • Silicon: thickens cell walls, making plants sturdier and resistant to lodging, limiting pests and diseases and improving tolerance to adverse weather.

Directions for use

Short-duration crops (rice, maize, sugarcane, potatoes, cassava, tomato, vegetables, fruit…)

– Rate: 11–18 kg per 360 m² sào, 15–25 kg per 500 m² sào, 30–50 kg per 1,000 m² công, or 300–500 kg/ha per application. – Timing: basal and top dressing at each growth stage. – Method: spread along rows or around plants while weeding and loosening the soil, then cover and earth up; or spread evenly over the field and water

Long-duration crops (pomelo, orange, mandarin, lychee, cashew, coffee…)

– Establishment phase: 0.3–0.5 kg/tree per application (100–200 g/m² of canopy); – Bearing phase: 0.5–1.5 kg/tree per application (100–200 g/m² of canopy). + Method: dig staggered trenches from 3/4 of the canopy to the drip line, or dig holes, apply fertiliser and cover with soil, watering if the soil is dry.

Rates may be adjusted to the soil, variety and yield target. Contact a Tiến Nông agronomist for specific guidance.
