Benefits

  • Nitrogen: a basic component of protein and the main component of chlorophyll. Nitrogen promotes budding, leaf growth and fruit development, increasing biomass.
  • Phosphorus: needed for cell division; promotes rooting, flower bud formation and young fruit development.
  • Potassium: promotes photosynthesis and the synthesis of carbohydrates, sugars and starch, and enhances the transport of photosynthetic products to storage organs, increasing yield and produce quality.
  • Silicon: thickens cell walls, making plants sturdier and resistant to lodging, limiting pests and diseases and improving tolerance to adverse weather.
  • A fertiliser with a complete composition and the right ratios and levels of nutrients for the growth and development of tea.
  • Used correctly, it gives balanced stem and branch growth, a good canopy and strong budding, raising yield, quality and grade of tea, extending the harvesting cycle and shortening the interval between pickings.

Directions for use

Short-duration crops

Rate
500–700 kg/ha per application.
Timing
For basal dressing or the first top dressing (10–20 days after sowing).
How to apply
Spread along rows or around plants while weeding and loosening the soil, then cover and earth up; or spread evenly over the field and water.

Perennial crops

Timing
Bearing phase: 0.5–2 kg/tree per application (150–250 g/m² of canopy). Apply for tree recovery after harvest, or for new flushes and flower differentiation.
How to apply
Dig staggered trenches from 3/4 of the canopy to the drip line, or dig holes, apply fertiliser and cover with soil, watering if the soil is dry.

Rates may be adjusted to the soil, variety and yield target. Contact a Tiến Nông agronomist for specific guidance.
