Benefits

  • Nitrogen: a basic component of protein and the main component of chlorophyll. Nitrogen promotes budding, leaf growth and fruit development, increasing biomass.
  • Phosphorus: needed for cell division; promotes rooting, flower bud formation and young fruit development.
  • Potassium: promotes photosynthesis and the synthesis of carbohydrates, sugars and starch, and enhances the transport of photosynthetic products to storage organs, increasing yield and produce quality.

Directions for use

Short-duration crops: rice, maize, potatoes, beans, sugarcane, dairy forage grass, vegetables…

+ Rate: 150–400 kg/ha per application (6–14 kg per 360 m² sào, 8–20 kg per 500 m² sào, 15–40 kg per 1,000 m² công) + Timing: basal dressing, or top dressing for tillering, branching, flower differentiation and tuber and fruit formation. + Method: spread along rows or around plants while weeding and loosening the soil, then cover and earth up; or spread evenly over the field and water.

Perennial crops: coffee, rubber, pepper, cocoa, durian, avocado, orange, pomelo, apricot, plum, longan, lychee, dragon fruit…

+ Rate: 0.2–0.8 kg/tree per application (100–150 g/m² of canopy), depending on tree age and canopy diameter. + Timing: at new planting, for recovery after harvest, for new flushes and branch growth, and as a top dressing for flower differentiation. + Method: dig staggered trenches from 3/4 of the canopy to the drip line, or dig holes, apply fertiliser and cover with soil, watering if the soil is dry.

Rates may be adjusted to the soil, variety and yield target. Contact a Tiến Nông agronomist for specific guidance.
