Benefits

  • Phosphorus is needed for cell division and promotes rooting, flower bud formation and young fruit development. With enough phosphorus, plants grow green and healthy, flower profusely, set plenty of fruit and produce better-quality crops.
  • PA Phosphate efficiently supplies phosphorus and secondary nutrients to crops on all soils.
  • PA Phosphate reduces acidity and acid sulphate effects, maintains and stabilises soil pH, and improves fertiliser use efficiency.

Directions for use

Short-duration crops (rice, maize, potato, beans, groundnut, tomato, gourds, chilli)

Rate
500–1,000 kg/ha per application
Timing
Basal dressing before sowing
How to apply
Spread along rows or around plants and cover lightly with soil before sowing (can be mixed with well-rotted manure or organic fertiliser to improve the effect of both).

Long-duration crops (coffee, pepper, cocoa, jujube, guava, durian, avocado, pomelo, orange)

Timing
Bearing phase: maintenance dressing to improve soil fertility, at the start, middle or end of the rainy season; or combined with manure or organic fertiliser for tree recovery after harvest, at 0.5–1.5 kg/tree per application (150–200 g/m² of canopy)
How to apply
Dig staggered trenches from 3/4 of the canopy to the drip line, or dig holes, apply fertiliser and cover with soil, watering if the soil is dry.

Rates may be adjusted to the soil, variety and yield target. Contact a Tiến Nông agronomist for specific guidance.
