– Rate: 0.2–1.0 kg/tree per application (100–150 g/m² of canopy), depending on tree age and canopy diameter. – Timing: basal dressing, and top dressing for new flushes, branch growth, flower differentiation and young fruit. – Method: dig staggered trenches from 3/4 of the canopy to the drip line, or dig holes, apply fertiliser and cover with soil, watering if the soil is dry.
- Rate: 100–300 kg/ha per application, depending on the crop. - Timing: basal dressing, or top dressing during biomass growth. - Method: spread along rows or around plants while weeding and loosening the soil, then cover and earth up; or spread evenly over the field and water.
